Paul scored the short film about the release of the ‘last Beatles song’ that was released worldwide on November 2nd
The film, like the song, is called Now and Then. It was broadcast on BBC on the One Show at 7:25pm on November 1. It also went out to all UMG partners (Vevo, Apple Music) at 7:30pm on Nov 1
Cymbeline, which opened in May is a triumph for the RSC, with Paul’s score being picked out for particular praise.
Prior to that Paul wrote a dazzling score for the Disney+ celebration: Lang Lang plays Disney.
The forthcoming movie Good Grief, written and directed by Dan Levy for Netflix, features Paul’s choral and Jazz arrangements, and this spring will see Apple TVs Masters Of The Air, starring Austin Butler, Callum Turner and Barry Keoghan, for which Paul provided the wartime big band charts.
Paul also recently wrote the score for the music documentary mini series They All Came Out To Montreux, which will air on the BBC this year.
His scores for the National Theatre’s smash hit comedy Jack Absolute Flies Again, and The RSC’s Richard III, began another busy and productive 12 months.

2021 has been a busy and productive year so far. Paul scored the critically acclaimed Together Starring James McAvoy and Sharon Horgan, Directed by Stephen Daldry; The BBC Film Danny Boy, Starring Toby Jones and Directed by Sam Miller; The forthcoming four part adaptation of Oscar Wilde The Canterville Ghost for BBC Studios and BYU TV in the US; and a second series of the popular hit Queens of Mystery for Acorn TV
